Hello from Santa Monica.

My name is Naomi Yamada and I enjoy creating....

For me creativity exists in everything we do. The way we write our names, express affection, make things and even how we organize our pantry. Everything can be imbued with thoughtful arrangement & visual joy. I keep this in mind when I am working on projects. I tend to begin my expression from a subtle and nuanced POV as I create visual narratives and push it further and further until the spirit of the goal is achieved.

All in all my passion is making impactful imagery and to get this done I will work across a few favorite mediums to achieve my vision.

I taught for over a decade at the Getty Museum. It was there I developed the desire to create with visual imagery and now that is what we do here. It's fun stuff.

I also keep a blog called 'Smile Heart Love' that celebrates inspiring things that make me smile and & touch my heart.
